PopCorn Time for iOS (No Jailbreak)
Popcorn Time is a movie app similar to Cartoon HD (though it uses torrents instead of streaming), which was released several week back on the iPhone and iPad. Unfortunately it was never granted an official certificate, likely because the app breaches copyright, so users had to turn to jailbreaking their devices in order to get it working. But it’s no need anymore! Since we have found a video on YouTube detailing how to install Popcorn Time on an iPhone 5S, or the models like iPhone 6 Plus, and iPads without the need to jailbreak. You can see the said video below this article revealing exactly how to install the app, and again this will be favored by many that hate the idea of a jailbreak.
The video author explains you can only install Popcorn Time on devices running up to iOS 8.0.2, although from iOS 8 only as well. It’s worth noting at the time of writing, there is no iOS 8.0.3 update and iOS 8.1 is in beta right now.

How to install?
- In your iDevice, go to download page given bellow and download it
- Switch to “Settings > Change Date/Time”
- Set your device’s date back to September 20, 2014, and then turn off WiFi, while leaving your data on.
- If you run in to freezing when trying to load the app up, simply turn the WiFi off again until the app is running and then turn it back on.
- Enjoy!
NOTE: Be sure to have the WiFi back on when attempting to access a movie because it will significantly zap your data.
